Is there anyone out there who could do a search in the Parish Church in Zurrieq for some of my relatives.

Please help me find the parents of Guiseppa Camilleri who was born in Algiers circa 1870.

She married in Malta to Giovanni Farrugia. They had a daughter Carmela 15 Oct 1893 in Zurrieq/Nigret Malta.

Daughter Carmela married Carmelo Zammit in 1914.

Another mystery is the Farrugia Family.

There seems to be three brothers, Giovanni, Francesco and Saviour who are related to me both on my maternal and paternal side.

Giovanni is my father's grandfather.

Francesco is my mother's grandfather.

And Saviour is my mother's stepmother's grandfather.

Any help in finding information on these families would be appreciated.

Another question please.

with the MC which I presume to mean Marriage contract.

Is it safe to assume that a marriage actually took place ? even if it is

not on the Adami marriage db.

Hi Ed,

ISO means International Standard Organisation. The norm ISO 8601 defines
international common formats for hours and days. For example : 28 march
2011 has to be written : '2011-03-28'

In the notary file the dates are written in the two modes :

Date : DD-MM-YYYY in English or JJ-MM-AAAA in French
Date ISO : YYYY-MM-DD in English or AAAA-MM-JJ in French

The 2 columns give exactly the same information.

On my Mamo tree received from Mary Lanfranco there is the entry:

Ignatius Mamo married to Rosa Saliba 9 Jan 1820.

database shows name as Maria Rose Saliba.

can this be confirmed for me please.

de m’apprendre que mon AAGM  Rose Augustine Henriette MICALLEF  (MIKALEFF – MICALEFF)

née le
8.06.1850 à Constantine, fille de Joseph MICALLEF et Marie XICLUNA  http://anom.archivesnationales.culture.g...cte=230150

avait été naturalisée et aurait
donc un dossier au CHAN – Paris.

Qui pourrait m’en dire plus ?
