One simple question, why is it not possible to filter Ghajnsielem or Kercem in the geneanum website, specifically the marriages?

It is possible to filter other villages, but Ghajnsielem and Kercem do not show in the dropdown list.

Does anyone by any chance happen to
have any archived records of births and marriages from Valletta and Floriana
between the late 1700s and the mid 1800s?

Digivault doesn't seem to be working and I have had trouble reading the
records at maltadiocese.org

I am looking for births and the marriage of my 4x Great Grandparents Francesco
Xerri & Maria Saliba who I believe to have been born in the late 1700s or
early 1800s and married before 1833 when their first child was born.

Any help or advice you could give me
would be gratefully appreciated.

Le premier mariage m'a été fourni par LANFRANCO

Peut être que le couple que je cherche c'est marié sur Tarxien, mais malheureusement nous n'avons pas les registres, si quelqu'un va à Malte !

I'm new to the group. I have been searching the records for the marriage between Pietro Caruana and Joanna Grech who were wed on 10-05-1831 (Matrice Gozo). Pietro's parents are recorded as being Francesco and Anna (maiden surname is not recorded)and it indicates that they were from Porto Salvo. However, in the actual marriage register, there was a loose note stating that the name of the husband (referring to Pietro Caruana)was originally Michele Zammiet and that with the bishop's permission, it was being changed to Pietro Caruana. I've been trying to search for the birth certificate of Pietro Caruana or a Michele Zammit but with no success. I also tried to trace the marriage certificate between Francesco and Anna , however, I am not sure whether the surname would be Zammit or Caruana. It would be appreciated if you could check whether you have any additional records which might be linked either to Pietro Caruana's birth certificate (could be Michele Zammit)or a marriage between Francesco (Caruana or Zammit)and Anna. I tried to get information from Porto Salvo church but to no avail. It would be appreciated if you could suggest any possibilities on how to trace back the Caruana line further.

Ce matin en étant sur généanet sur l'arbre d'un descendant du patronyme « ALBANESE » j'ai pu relever des anomalies

En effet en 1691 DE SCIO (nom confirmé par le registre de Cospicua film 4768 et aussi sur un testament de sa belle mère)Nicola se marie avec Diana VENEZIANO il est bien dit « DE SCIO » aucun souci, mais lorsque son fils Gaspare se marie avec BONNICI Caterina le 15/0/1724 à Vittoriosa il est dit « ALBANESE » et ensuite ce descendant a toujours mis « ALBANESE »

DE SCIO est un grec

J'ai écrit au descendant j'attends pour savoir si il a eu l'acte par l'église de Vittoriosa

Sur le site http://www.geneanum.com/malte/bases/baptemes.html je ne trouve pas pas d'infos sur GARGUR, je pense que les archives de cette ville ne s'y trouve pas .
