Interestingly enough, my paternal haplogroup is also l2a2 based on my raw DNA data.

Wow my father’s paternal haplogroup is also I2a2. Not a Sultana though. Absolutely fascinating, I wonder how common this haplogroup is in the wider Maltese population!
