Hi Theresa. No, I hadn't used Geneanet, but it looks promising. I'm glad to hear someone else frankly use the word "obsessed", which is somewhat my condition, though I think of myself as "driven" by the records themselves, as if they were demanding attention, waiting to be found. I regret not becoming obsessed before my aged mother died. She is the one who initially wanted to get to the bottom of the Daniel Kennedy story.
Can you recommend a researching genealogist in Malta who would read through hard copy parish records for me (Tarxien 1880-1905), or, if you would prefer not to do that, can you recommend how I would go about choosing one, pls? All the best, John
