Pour apporter ma pierre à l'édifice, en confirmation des informations données par David, je vous transmets un extrait du livre 'Siggiewi - Citta Ferdinand - A profil of history, Social life and traditions' de Carmel Vella.
'The dependent hamlets
The Apostolic delegate and his assistants then proceeded to the hamlets of Hal Kbir and Hal Xluq.....
Hal Xluq, with about 30 peasant families, lay on the flat land between Siggiewi and Qrendi. Mgr Duzina found six churches of which, three were in the name of the Assumption. One of these was found derelict and was desacrated. The others were small chapels named after St Nicholas, St Agatha and the Visitation. All the three have now ceased to exist, but one of those dedicated to the Assumption was
rebuilt in the late 16th century and is still functioning today....'
