I am trying to trace a CONCETTA de BATTISTA (my Great Grandmother). Born 26/09/1904 FLORIANA. Parents: Antonio / Anthony and Marianne/Mary Anne? Concetta later married a John Ernest James Griffiths (English? Navy? Army?) and they later lived in London (1930 records) but I wonder if they went between Malta & England more than once? Concetta later had two girls, Maria-Concetta (my Grandmother) and Rene (?) Concetta was widowed young and later re-married (1951) a (Leslie?) Smith in London. She returned to Malta as an elderly lady and was lovingly looked after by family. She is buried in Malta (1999?). I'd love to know more about her life, her first husband (my Great Grandfather) and any of her further back ancestors too. Thank you.
