Another question please.

with the MC which I presume to mean Marriage contract.

Is it safe to assume that a marriage actually took place ? even if it is

not on the Adami marriage db.

I have a few Marriage Contracts which have been annulated
a few when the brid ewas dead before the ' consumation'
usually it is done a few days before the church marriage, but some time after ???
and some time weeks before and even years before when the bride is only 5 or 10 years old
they are a few cases in the ADAMI collection but id did write in the colun 'Obs' = agée de 5 ans or 'mariage consummé'

You're right : MC stands for 'Contrat de Mariage = Marriage
Contract'

You can assume that a CM is followed by a marriage at 99 %. But you will
never be sure ...
