Great news.
I forgot to say that on some sicilian registers there is a part for foreign marriages of person who was born in the sicilian town.
So, maybe the marriage in 1851 appears also in Marsala register.

Thank you, This is very helpful, I am looking where to get the marriage certificate from of Salvatore Fauzza, as he married Raimunda Gauchi 09.09.1859. Salvatores wife has a Maltese surname, Gauchi. Do I go to the church, St Pauls Valletta, as the record office does not do prior to 1863. regards, Ben
