Carol,

The simple way would be to write to the church concerned for details.  the response from the parishes is variable.  Some respond quite quickly, others slowly, and some not at all.

If the marriage took place after 1863 then you can order a certificate from  https://secure2.gov.mt/certifikati/Marriage.aspx

a failry simple and straight forward process.

The marriage was in 1882 so I will look into ordering a certificate. I had seen that site but never had a date before!
