Good morning.
I am curious about this Mariano Mangion.
Is he the Mariano Mangion mentioned in the geneaum notary entry 16675?

The reason I ask is that my direct ancestor is a Marietta Mangion, daughter of Mariano who married Leonardo Magro on 28 Aug, 1604.

There seems to be a discrepancy between the notarial entry # 16675 of notary Bernardo Azzopardi (Donation) where the marriage date of Mariano Mangion to a Vincenza Zammit as parents to Caterina Mangion in the 'Donation' is 1611.

I am wondering if the parents of Marietta Mangion who marrie Leonardo Magro, namely Mariano and Vincenza, are the same parents of Caterina Mangion (whose parents are listed as Mariano and Vincenza) one and the same becasue if Marita married Leonardo Magro in 1604 could not be the daughter of mariano Mangion and Vincenza Zammit who were married in 1611....UNLESS there are 2 husband and wives who are named Mariano and Vincenza.

Any ideas?

It seems that today is the Day of Mariano Mangion on this forum !

The "x 1611" is a transcriber addition. I will find the act tommorow but i'm pretty certain that the last name (and maybe neither the first name) of the mother is not write on the act.

I think the donation is linked to your Marietta.

A contract mariage between a Mangion Mariano and Vincenza exist in 1611 (the addition came from here). But It's maybe another Mariano.
Or Mariano have two wifes named Vincenza.

I will post the two acts and we will the exact original info.

Les "mariages" avec LANZA Giovanna sont des erreurs de la collection MASSINI.
Il n'y a que 2 mariages, un avec SACCO Giovanna, l'autre avec SAURA Giovanna.

La mère de Mariano, je ne sais pas, il faut continuer les recherches, peut etre côté Notaire

As you can see in the ADAMI transcription, there is no "x 1611 fils de Pietro et Agata de casal Gudja dcd ZAMMIT Vincenza"
I will remove this information.
Do not rely on it.

This donation is clearly linked to your Marietta
So Marietta and Caterina are sister, parents : Mariano MANGION and Vincenza.
