Hi Linda,
I am also quite new to the group, but am working
on much earlier records than you. The database has records
only up to the mid-19th century,
so the records you are looking for from
around 1900 will not be in it.
Civil registrations of Births, Marriages and Deaths started in Malta in
the mid-19th century and (just as in the UK), certificates can
be ordered online from the
Maltese Public Registry. You can find the
registry at secure2.gov.mt/certifikati/.
