Looking for Birth/Baptismal Dates - q24angel - 06-11-2025
Hello. Wondering if anyone can help me?
I have been searching for years for the birth date of my great great grandmother, Elena Ciantar.
Her parents were:
FATHER- Angelo CIANTAR, the son of Anna SPITERI and Francesco CIANTAR.
MOTHER- Paola BEZZINA, the daughter of Maria CACHIA and Francesco BEZZINA.
Her parents married on January 14, 1809, in Qormi, Malta
I was able to order the parents' marriage certificate from the Parish Priest at Qormi. He also gave me the names of their 6 children, (Saveria, Maria, Concetta, Rocco, Carmela, Giuseppe) but Elena was not listed. I was thinking maybe one of these was Elena, using her second or third name ie: Carmela Elena, but I don't know how to find any more information.
I think she was born around 1820? She married Salvatore Cachia in June 1941, in Cephalonia Greece.
