Marriage Record - Debbie Ghiglieri - 28-05-2024

What does MRO mean when written next to a man's name on a Marriage Record?

Thank you,
Debbie Ghiglieri

Maestro = Master, for example a Master craftsman.
But the job is not specified.
So you can guess that he isn't an employee.

Thank you for your reply. So there is no definition for the R and O in MRO, next to the man's name? I've seen it on several Marriage records that I've saved for my family records.

Thank you,
Debbie

MaestRO

RO are the end of the Word. Common practice to short a word (the middle is removed)
